I am a Bindal and Birriah Traditional Owner woman from North Queensland, I am also South Sea Islander.

My Purpose and Passion

I am a specialist consultant in Indigenous Stakeholder Relationship and Project Management.

My passion is GENERATIONAL CHANGE – Indigenous people living meaningful and  powerful lives.

Our Projects

Bimbe Kyu

Bimbe Kyu (Birrigubba meaning – Strong Women) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Program

The Bimbe Kyu Women’s Program supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women in our community to reconnect through wellness and healing activities such as yarning circles, arts, and crafts.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women on individual journeys reconnecting and experiencing healing and connection that empowered us to be Bimbe Kyu – Strong women – Culturally, Mentally and Spiritually.

Workshop Facilitation

We were engaged by  the Department of Treaty, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, Communities, and the Arts.

We facilitated a two-day Public Intoxication Service Provider Forum with service providers who deliver public intoxication services across Queensland.

Cross Cultural Immersion

We delivered cross cultural immersion training and shared cultural knowledge and  lived experiences with staff from the Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning

This will enhance their relationships with Indigenous people in local government areas.

Indigenous people were employed on the Channel Upgrade Project, which contributed to their social and economic well-being.

I am a member of the Townsville Local Decision Making Body, Queensland Government Local Thriving Communities (LTC) reform.

 

Indigenous Reef Advisory Committee – Marine Park Authority

I am committee member that provides advice to the Marine Park Authority Board (Reef Authority) on the management of the Great Barrier Reef.
